ORDERING AND SHOPPING INSTRUCTIONS

Shopping on Hi Fly Kites website is an easy task. All you have to do is (click on any topic below to read more):

1. Choosing Products

When selecting products from our online store, you have the following options:

Check on the price. The prices are given in South African Rand (ZAR). The price is displayed clearly in red next to each product available for sale. Additionally, there is a Currency Converter with live (in real time) rates, calculating the value of South African Rand (ZAR) into any currency. You will see the following information (click on the Currency Converter below to calculate the price):

Choose the number of items you wish to add to your shopping cart. You will see the following drop-down menu by each product:

Quantity:

Some products are sold by metre - not by number - like Bridle Line, Carbon Fibre Spars etc. Clear instructions are displayed in such cases. Additionally, we provide a Unit Converter that calculates lengths in milimetres, centimetres and metres from inches and feet - and vice versa. You will see the following information (click on the Unit Converter below to calculate the length):

Elastic shock cord is cut to your order by 1 metre lengths (3.28 feet or 39.37 inches). Price is calculated per 1m (3.28ft or 39.37in) ordered.

Choose the style or colour. In most cases you will be able to choose one of the pre-defined catalogue styles, or even custom styles (by styles we mean colour combinations). In any case you will see clear instructions - please follow them. You can try the little exercise below - click on "Choose Catalogue Style" or "Choose Custom Style":

If you wish to choose your own kite style, leave the above selection "Custom" and type in the chosen custom style code below. Customised orders' deliveries take 7 days longer:

Add chosen product(s) to your Shopping Cart. After you have selected the desired quantity or length and style (colour), click on "Add to Basket" or "Buy Now" - you will be redirected to your Shopping Cart where you can view what items, and how many of them, are in your basket:

NOTE: Our shopping programme "remembers" what you have selected for 60 minutes. You can carry on shopping on our website, leave our website, or even disconnect from the Internet altogether - if all happens within 60 minutes, you will still find all your items in the shopping cart untouched.

2. Proceed to Checkout

When you are finished with shopping, you can proceed to the Checkout Point. To do so, click on the "Shopping Cart" button at the top-right corner of any page on our website:

On the Shopping cart page you will see all the items that you have added to your basket with their quantities, colours or styles and prices, together with a total net amount to be paid (without shipping charges). If you see that something is not as you want, you can change your shopping basket contents by clicking "Update Basket" icon:

Clicking "Update Basket" gives you an opportunity to add or delete items from your shopping cart. Please follow the instructions on the page - they are self-explanatory.

If everything is all right and you are happy with the basket contents, click "Proceed to the checkout" to move to the Order Form.

3. Order Form

Before reaching the Order Form, you will be asked whether you wish to create a Customer Account with Hi Fly Kites. Creating the account is advisable for those customers who are likely to shop again on our website in the future - our system will then "remember" all personal details like name, E-mail address, shipping address etc. (NOT the credit card number!). You do not have to open an account at all - just click "Place order without an Account".

The Order Form is self-explanatory. You will be asked for Shipping Method and for your personal details. Please follow the instructions on the screen and click "Continue" button.

4. Pay Online

When you are finished with filling out the Order Form, a new page displays with the total amount to be paid (price of all products in your basket plus shipping fees). You are then instructed to pay using our Virtual Card Services Payment Gateway:

	All payments on the Hi Fly Kites website are processed by Virtual Card Services. You are welcome to visit their website - click here.
	All payments are executed on a Secure Server - please read our "Security Policy" - click here. Your credit card particulars are safer on our website than in any offline shop, because nobody, apart from banks, will store your credit card details anywhere!
	South African customers can pay by cheque or by credit card. All other customers can pay by credit cards listed at the bottom of this page.
	Your credit card will be charged in South African Rand (ZAR), but your statement will reflect the price in your local currency. You can use our Currency Converter on any page to see what would be the approximate charge in your currency. Our Currency Converter calculates exchange rates in real time.
	You will be immediately informed on the screen whether your transaction was successful. Additionally, you will receive an E-mail message within seconds confirming the transaction, with the list of purchased items, date, prices and other details.
