Requirements:
1 x Sheet of Photocopy paper A4 (21cm x 29.5cm - 8.3in x 11.6in)
1 x strip of newspaper for tail 5cm x 1.5m (2in x 60in)
1m (40in) sewing thread for the bridle line
Sewing thread for flying line
Instructions:
Fold your sheet of A4 paper in half.
Next take each half and fold in half again.
And then take this half and fold it back on its self.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 above on the other side.
Now mark 5cm (2in) down on both edges. This is where you will attach the bridle.
Using something sharp make a hole at each mark.
Now take your 1m (40in) bridle line and tie the bridle in place through each hole.
Place the two knotted ends together to find the centre of the bridle line.
Tie a loop in the centre of the bridle line. This is where you will attach the flying line.
Now cut out the paper tail from the newspaper. The tail needs to be 5cm (2in) wide and at least 1.5m (60in) long.
You can connect newspaper strips with a sticky tape to make the tail longer.
Attach the tail to kite at the opposite end to the bridle using glue or sticky tape.
Attach the flying line and your paper sled is ready to fly.
Have fun!
