| Final Sewing The kite is then completed by sewing the sleeves that hold the wing spars, the spine tape is sewn on and the trailing edge of the kite is hemmed. Pockets to hold the frame and reinforcements are sewn on and all loose threads are cut. The kite is then checked. See pictures - click on any image below: |
