| Cutting of Kite Panels The fabric is rolled out on the cutting table. The Meteor consists of 8 templates and using these templates each of the 8 panels are cut out using a hot iron. Heat cutting seals the fibres so they won't fray. Reinforcements for the spine, nose and wingtips are cut out and pockets to hold the spars are made. See pictures - click on any image below:   |
